Custom Diaper Cake for Baby Shower

This is a custom Baby Cake - commonly called a diaper cake - I made for a friend's baby shower this weekend.

This three-tier cake contained over 100 Pampers Swaddlers diapers (all useable when cake is dismantled).

This purple and pink cake featured a hand-sewn receiving blanket fastened by real diaper pins, as well as a bottle, pacifiers, and baby utensils.

The top tier contains a headband with oversized flower for baby to wear.

Little personal touches specific to the couple were added such as butterflies on the pacifiers (to match the baby's room) and stickers on the base for the skull-loving momma-to-be.

The cake was adorned with baby socks turned into decorative "roses."
